1912 Homestead

My name is Marissa Meyer. I am not a native Wyomingite. I was born in Nevada and moved homes approximately every two years due to my father’s job in the military. I have lived in several different states as well as having visited and passed through others. I have also lived overseas three different times have been very blessed to have been able to visit several foreign countries during those years. The video in the lower corner shows some of the interesting places that I was able to visit on these and other trips that my family took during my father's time in the military. When I was sixteen, my father left the military, and my family moved to Wheatland, Wyoming, where we have remained since.

I am a freshman in my first spring semester at Eastern Wyoming College. During my first year, I have remained undecided as to what degree and career I wish to pursue and have been completing my generals during this time. After I finish my two years at EWC, I currently plan to move on to the University of Wyoming and obtain a bachelors in my chosen degree.

My family is the current owners of the property that this website is about. We are all very happy and blessed to be living. We own five barn cats, two indoor cats, four dogs, a twenty-odd flock of chickens and twenty new baby chicks, and two piglets.
